The fox is one of those super-mysterious animals that's always exciting to see, and I feel like I've been seeing them everywhere lately. I'm pretty fascinated with animal totems, and whenever I cross paths with one I feel a connection to I'll do some research...In many cultures' folklore, the fox is considered a messenger from an alternate world capable of shape-shifting and invisibility. They are usually seen at the forest's edge or around the borders of open spaces... the places in-between. Usually at dusk or dawn... the times in-between. I tried to focus on those spaces in-between with this drawing, in-between the foxes, in-between the trees, in-between worlds... kinda sneaky, kinda creepy, kinda foxy...
